Welcome to my Biennial Purge of all things that go unused in our home...
Gorgeous Vintage 1970 Silk Sari - Fabric for Caftan/Dress/Etc.
I purchased this beautiful silk sari while traveling in India when Mumbai was Bombay.
The pattern is extraordinary and is silk screened.
Includes a red sari blouse that has an ink stain on the front from the screened process.  Size 8? 10?
Wanted to make this gorgeous fabric it into a caftan...then, never got around to it.
Approximately 43" Wide X 6 Yards long.
The length is broken near the end to cut for a matching sari blouse.
It's been lovingly wrapped in tissue paper for the past 50+ Years.
